"MANY LIVES, MANY MASTERS"
by Brian L. Weiss
Published by Fireside in 1988

The true story of a prominent psychiatrist, his young patient, and the past-life therapy that changed both their lives.

As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks. His skepticism was eroded, however, when she began to channel messages from "the space between lives," which contained remarkable revelations about Dr. Weiss's family and his dead son. Using past-life therapy, he was able to cure the patient and embark on a new, more meaningful phase of his own career.
A graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School, Brian L. Weiss, M.D., is currently Chairman of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami.

"This thought-provoking, beautifully written book breaks through the barriers of conventional psychotherapy and presents an innovative and highly effective treatment. It should be taken seriously by those in the mental health profession."
- Edith Fiore, Ph.D., clinical psychologist and author of "You Have Been Here Before"

"This book synthesizes the psychiatrist with the mystic, the seeking of ultimate truths, and the promise of personal reincarnation. It reads like a gripping novel and is so compelling I could not put it down."
- Harry Prosen, M.D., Professor and Chairman Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health Sciences Medical College of Wisconsin

"A spellbinding case history substantiating the effectiveness of past-life therapy. The book will open doors for many who have never considered the validity of reincarnation."
- Richard Sutphen, author of "Past Lives, Future Loves" and "You Were Born Again to Be Together"

"Dr. Weiss integrates concepts of traditional psychotherapy and the exploration of his patient's spiritual unconscious. My view of myself and others will never be quite the same."
- Joel Rubinstein, M.D., former instructor of psychiatry at the Harvard Medical School now in private practice

"An interesting, well-written and thought-provoking exporation of the influence of past-life therapy on present behavior. You cannot put it down without feeling empathetic with Dr. Weiss's conclusions."
- Andrew E. Slaby, M.D., Ph.D., M.P.H. Medical Director, Fair Oaks Hospital

"A profoundly moving account of one man's unexpected spiritual awakening. This significantly courageous book has opened the door to the marriage between science and metaphysics. Must reading for a soul-searching, hungry world."
- Jeanne Avery, author of "Astrology and Your Past Lives"

An inspiration to launch into soul exploration
This is an incredibly moving book. It inspired me to journey inside and explore the questions of who I am--and who I may have been. It provokes the questioning of coincidence and intuition. What is it that I've brought to this life that I've absorbed from others.... I have gone on to read other books on the same subject and consider myself on a journey to learn as much about life as we "know" it and about lives I may have known. --This text refers to the hardcover edition of this title.

A must read for anyone who has lost a loved one.
I started listening to this book a few days before my father died. It really helped me accept the loss and know that all was for the best. I didn't want the story to end and I listened to it twice more,so I could fully absorb what the "masters" were trying to tell us. --This text refers to the audio cassettes edition of this title.

The most important book you will ever read.
This was the most important, beautiful and generous book I have ever read. My life has already been dramatically changed as a result of Brian Weiss sharing his experience and his patient's insight with us. Anyone who feels that life is unfair, that bad things happen for no reason or fear death so much that it diminishes their ability to enjoy life and live in the moment, should read this book. Thank you Dr. Weiss for giving me the knowledge to change my life.

I am reading this at the right time too, which is making the journey extra special.
